VMAX Iceolator or MACE Insulator

What do they do? Do they actually provide gains?

Yes they provide gains. They keep the intake manifold running cooler. The MACE 25mm insulator gives more torque down low and starts to pull at about 2500 RPM and the VMAX Iceolator gives more upper end hp and starts to pull at about 5000 RPM

Both have been proven to work with their own dyno graphs with several people having them to say they actually do work.

Yes, I have a vararam and the mace 25mm and on mine it fits just fine. I know the VMAX will work as well.

They both make a difference that you really can feel. For the money, it is a really nice mod.

Yes, both are good and both well worth it. Both proven.

And to clarify, the 3/8" VMax makes power right from the hit as the 25mm/1" does, but the thicker one makes a few more tq down low, about equal above 3000 but above 5,000 the 3/8" climbed above to peak at app 10-15 rwhp more at close to 7k RPM's.

Both still showed great gains over stock at all rpm ranges, so just a choice of where you want the power band.

Best bang for the buck. I have the 3/8 Ice-olater,and was able to still use my engine cover. Not sure you can do that with the 1" mace without some different parts i.e. oil fill tube extention from a Pontiac G8. Could be wrong about that, so double check.
