Help...

I have a 2010 SS L99. I have put a cold air intake, header, straight pipes and have had it tuned and it dyno at 398 wrhp. Without having to go procharger what else can I do to gain Max horse power? Should I get a performance camshaft kit and replace the manifold or is there a better route to take? I'm open to all suggestions. I'm just trying to get the best HP for the dollar.

I went with cam, heads, and a few other things. Look at my sig, it will give you a general idea.

Also look at the Night Fury cam. It makes alot of power.

If you stay vvt I'd go with the Mast SS cam or the NightFury cam, with some Brian Tooley Platinum springs and SLR Lifters. get a good set of CNCD Ls3 heads from WCCH, AI, LPE, TEA and all the other supporting mods Jeff has in his sig.

Perform your research & due diligence, some maximum HP cams designed for the strip will actually make your daily driver slower on the street.....yes, its true!

That's for the help and feedback. I will do my research now and check out those options suggested. It would be nice to find a manufacture who has a kit with heads and camshaft all from one place so I don't have to mix and match.

I think Lingenfelter, Texas Speed and Performance, Lethal, and a couple others have packages.

Are you looking for more hp specifically or just more performance? Because a new converter or gears would perk things up also.

Take your time researching. You should have an end result in mind. You need to to know if your staying NA or FI. That decision effects what mods you want to get and what specs to go with on heads and cam

No need for that bud, it's not going to make a difference only a number on a sig lol. The track will show you the truth.

My end goal is to increase HP and performance the best way possible. I want tobstay away from superchargers and turbos. I would like to gain all the knowledge I can on horsepower gain without chargers and turbos. I have gotten alot of helpful advice on here and I'm going to get the night fury camero package and the tsxr Fast 120mm manifold w throttle body... I don't know anything about the gears and changing them so I will start doing research on them and see if its something I will be able to do in the future. Thanks again for all the help!

It's spelled camAro and the 120mm might be a bit big without going forced induction. Bigger isn't always better.

With a good cam (I went LS3 conversion) good set of heads and intake work you will gain some good power. I didn't do anything to my stock heads except for matching the springs to the cam with intake porting and a new tune and I picked up almost 60 more RWHP.

It doesn't work very well. And "it is" should be the conjunction "it's".

keep vvt and get a custom specd cam from a reputable builder/ tuner. if you know you are keep stock converter let them know you want as big as it can handle...it will be mild but it will have nice increases...keep vvt!

if you know you will be staying n/a then headwork is a must. ported and milled to bump up your compression, with a custom gasket set. the internals in the heads are fairly easy to replace and upgrade...be sure to get rid of ALL the afm/dod crap while still keeping vvt cam
