Anybody know what is involved with putting on a ground effects package?
I'm interested in ordering one and putting it on myself.

My dealer did it and the best mechanic had issues. they even added reinforcements that GM did NOT have, for high speed track activity. Don't even think about it unless you have all the plastic rivits, plastic gun and are very familiar with new GM bodies

I spoke with a few folks who ordered these and they have had to modify the installation process. GM had two clips on the edges and some tape holding them inplace. Most people I have spoken with end up drilling some additional holes and adding more brackets to really hold them in place.

the front lip WILL come loose.

Edit #2: Just went to the dealership... they say that the GFX lip is being redesigned. Two cars up there are waiting for the new front lip piece. Kind of a bummer since mine are already painted.

Have your dealer call GM and ask for GM to call Laramie GM Auto for the modified install directions. I won't be using the new one if offered. In for paint right now
