Looking for the Granatelli Plug Wire Thread...

I've been searching (unsuccessfully) for that big, long thread a while back about the Granatelli Plug Wires. I remember there was this big argument going on about how they added like 10HP, and others were of course disputing that claim. I've searched just about every keyword possible and still can't find it, does anyone else remember that thread? Just wanted to read up on it, before making a plug wire purchase. Did that thread get deleted for some reason??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have them and they work great. I don't think they will give you extra HP unless you have really crappy wires on before the change.

That may not be the thread you are looking for but granatelli claims 10hp 17ftlbs on a z06 after a change in that post.

Thanks for the info. Not exactly the thread I was looking for, but useful information nonetheless. Thanks!!! I just ordered the Granatelli Wires from ColoradoSpeed who had a pretty good deal on them ($183+free shipping). Maybe I'm a sucker who fell for the hyped-up marketing, but what the hell..... I wanted some good wires....and now they're coming!!!

I am running the Granatelli wires on my Camaro. The added heat protection is great for long tube headers.

Also considering these. Might have to wait a bit because of their price tag.

I run 'em on mine, I like 'em. I got the sense that the car idled a bit more smoothly with them on. I'm also a believer in more power through aggregate gains from upgrades of smaller things, so I was cool with these.
