Tight Jeans

Is your FOB in your front pocket when you're walking out there?

I really dont have any FOB sep for one of my old dog tags - I cant stand that crap. Today I'm gonna try without other keys and dog tag attached.

Ok I'm sure I'm not hitting anything when my trunk is open. I have yet to test the trunk button while indoors but I know it's not getting pressed when I'm out doors.

Further I've tested the sensitivity of both the fob button and the door button for the trunk. Neither are sensitive enough for me to accidentally press.

It's happened 3 times over a 2 week period, so it's not something I can scientifically study, I'm just 99% sure it's happening on it's own.

This is driving me nuts. I thought it was the sensitivity of the button, but it's not. I was very careful the last couple of days not to touch or put the FOB in my pockets. I still keep finding my trunk open. Yesterday it was open when I went out to the parking lot after work. I'm thinking maybe it's a frequency crossing with someone elses key buttons? Anybody found a solution yet?? This might have to be brought to the attention of GM, if they don't know already.

You shouldnt be putting people in your trunk, its not nice. And it doesnt work anymore since there is an inside trunk release.

Anybody?? Is this a defect or just an annoyance? I'm going to try using my second key FOB and see if it's just in the FOB.

Women like it better when you ask them out instead of locking them in the trunk... plus theres that release now so they can escape too easy!

Okay, I switched to my second key FOB last week, and it hasn't happened since, so maybe there are some defective key FOB's out there.
