Pype Bomb Axel Back Exhaust

They sound pretty good to me in this video and they're pretty cheap!

Anyone have these on their SS? Comments? Drone issues?

Thanks.

I put it on my L99 car with a Jegs x pipe and these Pypes muffler deletes. It sounds good to me! I have a tune so there is no AFM drone on my car. Not sure how it will sound with AFM if you have an L99.

Does the x-pipe make a difference in the sound, or does it simply "balance" the exhaust flow better than stock?

I had them on my car with a magnaflow x-pipe as my 1st setup.. only thing was a MINOR fitment issue on the driver's side, which was pretty common back then(don't know if they have corrected the issue or not)... had a little trouble getting it to line up properly without adjustment, I ended up heating it with a torch a little to adjust the bend

The X-Pipe helped the sound quite a bit with just the stock mufflers, so I'm sure it made a difference with the deletes. For $400 for both the x pipe and muffler delete, you'll have a hard time beating it on price. I think the next comparable 2 1/2" exhaust is like $750.

2SSRSinBama, I had the same issue. I'm having to heat mine up this weekend to straighten it out a bit.

I found them from Jegs through eBay for $280 shipped. Summit seems to have the best price. I bet anyone of the vendors on here that carry them would price match.
