Ordered my kook long tubes this morning!!!

I just ordered my kooks catless long tube headers this morning at a killlllllller price. They should be in sometime mid next week.

I'm wondering how hard the install should be with a lift? Have you installed a pair of kooks long tubes? Anything in specific I should know?

Pictures and videos coming soon!

with a lift? really easy, without a lift? really easy. hardest part was putting the dipstick tube back in and of course getting the rusted crap off your car. reuse the factory gaskets by the way.

you will LOVE your kooks they will outlast your car

I would recommend using Stage8 locking bolts. Maybe also some spark plug wire heat sleeves or high temp plug wires. Sounds so much better with headers.

Your going to love them. It will take a couple hours to install, and your CEL light will come on from moving the cats, But more airflow in= more airflow out= more HP

We suggest using New GM gaskets, but the stock gaskets can be reused. It gaskets that come with the headers are just not as good as GM gaskets..

Feel free to call PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

Tyler

Easy to install, even with a bad back and a set of jack stands.

Congrats welcome to the Kooks Krew!

It a breeze with a lift bud. I got it down to 1.5 hours now lol. By myself lol.
There are plenty of write ups here in DIY section. You can reuse your stock ones you'll be fine. Just don't use the kooks gaskets. You can also reuse your stock bolts no need for fancy bolts unless you want a purty bay. Goodluck

Stage8 bolts will never come loose. Nothing wrong with using what comes with the set too.

Thanks! Thankfully my buddy has a lift in his back yard. I'm excited to get them in and install them! I'm wondering how they are going to sound with my SLP loud mouth axle backs.... Everyone is saying its extremely loud and I might want a loud mouth 2 resantor..
