Available DFW allocations?
So my Dad should be ordering my car for me tom. becuase I'm in Iraq. He wants to order from Classic because that's where he buys his trucks, but if there is another dealership with allocations that would be the better route. I hear Classic has 125 or so orders. So I wouldnt get my car for quite some time. Any help is greatly appreciated guys

But when are the second set of allocations set to be pulled? Are you from Burleson? I went to high school there.

Check with Big Jay at Huffines in Plano. I am pretty sure they do. Sell at MSRP also. He is a member here. planocamaroguy

Would you be willing to drive to Houston area? Our Sugarland store still has open slots.

Yikes Eric, that's quite the drive. I might just end up toughing it out with you guys and hope my car is in mid to end October cuz that's when I'll be home and I gotta have a car before I head back to North Carolina. What do you think?

What are the chances of me walking into a dealership around August, and getting the Camaro I want straight off the lot without ordering? Or Should I have ordered long ago? I really need to wait until around August....

Well from what I've been told you shoulda ordered. If you find a dealer with a June allocation you could possibly order and get your car by August. Chances are if you do find a car you like and it's sitting on the lot, they are charging over MSRP. Good luck though.

I know Classic has a lot of sold orders, but there's a reason. I just got my car on the 16th and the experience could not have been better (unless GM had built my car sooner!!). If I were you, I'd talk to Eric and get in on the Sugarland store if they have allocations. Houston is not that far of a drive, and you'd have a blast driving your new Camaro back. Heck you can fly Southwest for < $100 one way.
