As advertised. Two payments of $150 to PayPal one for the Vmax, one for the core deposit. Received the Vmax in three days, took the 13.5 minutes to install it, boxed up my throttle body shipped it back and refund 3 days later.
Definately can notice the increased throttle response, very pleased with the purchase!

I just sent you the tracking info.

Its really easy. Remove the hose going from the air intake to the throttle body. Most intake hoses you can fold up out of the way, but some you may have to unplug the MAF connection then fold out of the way.

Remove the four bolts holding the throttle body in place, and bolt on your new throttle body.

There's a rubber gasket on your manifold. You don't have to over tighten the four bolts when you install the new throttle body. You'll see when you take off your stock throttle body, the bolts aren't in to tight.

I think I posted up pictures somewhere in a thread

Powdercoat or paint?

I do have a powdercoat operator but haven't used him for throttle bodies. His cost is about $150-200 more.

As far as painting, I tell guys to buy the paint color and supplies at a Autozone or Napa parts to and do it yourself for about $15-20 instead of paying a vendor $50 to do it for you. This way you'll have the can of spray available as the paint chips away.

Im just trying to save you a buck.

Sorry, I meant paint...since it's the common/cheapest method being used to match the car's body color. I wouldn't trust myself painting it, so I'll have to get it painted elsewhere. Thanks for your honesty Phil!

Guys can say they are honest on here, but I prove it.

As a side note a shop complained that I was charging $150 core deposit and they were charging $200. So Vmax asked me to raise my core deposit to $200.

So the throttle body is $150.00 and NOW charge $200 core deposit which I return as soon as I receive your throttle body.

Sorry about this.
Phil

Thanks,
Mike

It really is a 15 minute install even for a guy that doesn't turn wrenches often

+1 Took me 15 minutes and that was 10 minutes of cleaning stuff afterwards (that was independent of the TB, I'm OCD for cleaning) haha

Correct.

I need your OEM GM unmolested stock throttle body off your Camaro so I can clean it up and send it to Vmax for porting. That's how we all keep the price down.

Thanks
Phil
