A "procharger" is not a generic name for a centri supercharger, its another brand of centrifugal blower. ECS is selling a paxton blower.

It's very easy to install. Hardest part is pinning the crank and mounting the intercooler. After that, it's just bolts and piping and clamps

Sounds like you should be ok since you have the proper tools. Just follow the directions to the tee and you should be ok. I thought about making it a project myself, but I don't have the tools to do it and I would've made it a hack job so I enlisted ECS to do it. If worse comes to worse for you, you have Lethal nearby who is a vendor of the kit.

There are a few differences between the NOVI 1500 that ECS uses and a Procharger kit. One of them being the intercooler mounting. Procharger goes from side to side, ECS goes top to bottom. The fit of the ECS is nice because it fit really well.

I did, and it's pretty simple, just make SURE to take your time, there's no need to rush it. It shouldn't take more than a few days to do it all.

I dont know about the ECS bracket system compared to the Vortech but Id imagine they are very similiar. This is the area that gave me the most trouble. There were alot of different size bolts and spacers that have to be assembled perfectly for the belts to track true. Take your time and it will be no problem. I didnt have a right angle drill so I just removed my radiator to pin the crank and it was easy. Also use a balancer install tool and you can put the balancer in the oven at 200 degrees for 20 min and it will slide on the crank pretty easy. Good luck and post pics.

If you have any questions we are here to help also!

Many people tackle this themselves without a problem, hopefully you do too. If you would like a start up tune file send me your ECM when you start the project and I'll turn it around the same day received.

It still needs to be checked, but it will be very close if not spot on and you can check the cars operation prior to dynoing.

Thanks!

yup...get it tuned by them or someone local. I was going to bring that up. pinning the crank is the hardest part IMO.

lethal would be my choice just for the volume of ECS they do. You know if you need something they will have it or can get it asap.

Pinning the crank is easy on the ECS kit. Don't have to remove the balancer. Also don't have to remove front bumper cover. Hardest part is figuring out what spacers go where. Study the install pics in the instructions as you do the install. ECS can explain what spacers go where. FSP helped me a lot, I bought from them and installed myself.

Ya I looked at the spacers when the kit first came in and said to myself, this is going to be fun..

Maybe someone can do some measurements on those to make my life easier lol

Lethal Performance in San Antonio just recently moved to a new location so that may be why you couldn't reach them. They are the shop I would go with in that area.
