Since the power doesn't really hit until the upper half of the RPM range on the IPF set-up, I rarely have traction problems with my M6 car on the stock all-season BFG's that came with my LS. I have not run mine down a 1/4 mile yet, though, and with the closing of the only accessible track in the Phoenix area, it'll probably be a while, if ever, until I do. We have to trek to Tuscon, almost two hours away at this point to get any runs in.

That sucks :(
That's interesting that you say traction isn't an issue. I've been interested in seeing since as you said, the power doesn't really kick in until the upper rpms

Remember though, I have an M6, so I have (what's left of) an LSD rear end. Helps.

Yeah the car spins out then plants down. And evens itself out. I'm hoping I can hit low 13's . Looks like I may go to Wednesday night drags this next wed. So I will update everyone once I run. I may get in late because I work late on Wednesday.

Lend me the funds and I'll push it until it breaks... then I'll fix it and push it even more!

I'm sure after we figure things out, we will see people truly try to push the limits of this "little" v6

I agree. I don't think many v6 owners want to blow their engine up.after awhile a daily driver can only have so much power that's usable.ive seen many v8 owners spin out at the track when they have too much power.

Then there are others like me that are completely happy with the IPF SC giving me the V8 power for my daily drive. I don't expect to get to the track but for once a year. Not really looking to break land speed records but want to know I have the power there thats reliable. The great gas mileage is the frosting on the cake
