Nice 600-700 hp wow!!! Thats pretty crazy for the v6.I never imagined our motors can handle that much.My goal is to get in the 12's but id be happy if i can run low 13's all day and still have good reliability.

You should be able to run that if you can get traction.

Lots of options for more fuel....thats how some of us are pushing 600-700 plus HP on these.

Whose LLT has those numbers?

I sure hope so. That's what I'm hoping. The good thing is that I'm not a horrible driver. Not the best though. I ran 14.56 @ 95mph with 20 inch wheels that are a little heavier then stock SS wheels an a K and N short ram.

Thats a pretty good time if that's all you had on the car. You'll probably have to learn how to launch it again but once you get it down, you should be able to run at least consistent mid to low 13s. If you get some serious rubber, I think you can get into the 12s, especially with your mods.

With your power, if you can get a decent launch you car is definitely capable of 12s. You can be happy with low 13s, but its capable of more. There have already been two IPF cars hit 12s...one of them on stock tires with stock headers. The other car I can't remember if it had stock tires or not.

IPF also took an LS (with the heavy 18" heritage blank rims and all season tires) to a 13 flat.

So again if you get a good launch you should be able to see 12s. Otherwise if you spin badly at the launch it will kill your time.

No LLT on this site has those numbers right now. Gretchen got to around 600 crank HP with his LLT, but the tune and fuel was not stable. But now he is running a 2012 V6 with the LFX hitting at about 700 HP.

Yeah I saw that. Is there any manual supercharged cars that are running those times?i mostly see autos.

Oh well you're definitely going to have to relearn running this thing. How does the clutch feel with the boost? I know a bunch of people, are looking at getting upgraded clutches because of the new found power.

It feels pretty good.I don't intend to put drag radials as for the car is my daily driver.i figure that when the clutch goes out and starts slipping I will look into a new clutch. Seems like there's only a few out at this moment. As for learning to drive the car oh definitely. Ive have only launched it once with the supercharger. I launched it at 2800 rpms and feathered the clutch. I probly will go to a test and tune so I can get more runs.theres a race track about 15 mins away from me.

If you don't want to put drag radials on, you could look into some better rubber or some suspension goodies to avoid wheel hop and keep things planted making it easier for you to control traction.

It should be fun getting that thing to a drag strip to see what it can do!

Since the power doesn't really hit until the upper half of the RPM range on the IPF set-up, I rarely have traction problems with my M6 car on the stock all-season BFG's that came with my LS. I have not run mine down a 1/4 mile yet, though, and with the closing of the only accessible track in the Phoenix area, it'll probably be a while, if ever, until I do. We have to trek to Tuscon, almost two hours away at this point to get any runs in.

That sucks :(
That's interesting that you say traction isn't an issue. I've been interested in seeing since as you said, the power doesn't really kick in until the upper rpms
