I just had this happen to me for the first time today since I installed mine (about a week). Turning the car off and back on cleared it but still a little concerning.

Hey guys:
While we haven't been able to replicate this - we have a pretty good idea of what it could be. Because the Camaros have electronic power steering, we believe there is an early command we're sending out on the bus to engage that the ECU is missing because of that start-up routine. There is a remote possibility of this happening, but it is possible, and it may vary by vehicle.

Again, a keystroke will reset everything. If you are having this problem, please send me an email and we'll diagnose and fix.

No. Like I said, this should be a super-rare event. If it happens twice, please let us know because your vehicle may be different.

Thanks,
Adam

Man o Man...I personally got a LS3 cause 1. I liked the idea of rowing through the gears. And 2. I HATED the idea of AFM. But this product...sheesh Im absolutely estatic for all of you l99 guys that had the dilemma of wanting to get rid of it but not wanting your warranty out the window!. Thanks Adam and everyone at your company for giving l99 owners another option! Fn Kudos!!!!

So far no issues here, but it has only been a few days. Now I have to figure out what to do with the exhaust.

I told JewelSS about it, he bought one. His wife went to drive home from work and the warning lights lit up like Christmas, after a restart it went back to normal.

Ok, so it just happened again, this time I just let it sit (without removing) for about 30 seconds and it restarted fine. Te funny thing is i unplugged it for the 1st yesterday and today it happened. I not sure how concerning this is, but I'd like to see it addressed.

I'm tempted to jump on this because this products sounds awesome, but wouldn't the computer log these incidents ? and could these logs be read by GM's scanner if warranty work is needed ? Could this be a problem down the road ? .. I'm just going going to keep checking this thread for awhile before I take the plunge.

Good point. Maybe...they may be able to see the warning message.

I highly doubt they can, and even if they could you could just say you were data logging.

FYI- Adam already contacted me, he is pretty sure on a fix. I will be assisting him this week on it. It just seems the unit is logging before the startup, a slight delay should resolve that.

Overall I have very little concern.
