1LE hood question (pics?)

Hi there,

Was wondering if anyone has attempted to peel the black vinyl off of the hood. It's the only aspect about the car I don't care for. Just wondered if there were any pictures of it around without the vinyl. Thanks!

Before I ordered it i already had planned on removing it. Don't get me wrong I did like it with the black hood but I like it so much better without.

If you have any trouble removing it use a hair dryer. Took my stripes off pretty quick.

This is what I did to remove my hood wrap. It was cold outside so I brought her in the garage, turned on the heater, and got a hair dryer. This is the result...

This looks perfect! Love the white 1le's and the tires come right out to the fender. The grill basically completes the ultra-slick look of this thing. We need about 100 more pictures of your car, please.

Agreed... I really don't get it but I guess that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.... More broadly, I don't get the de-badging in general that people do to take off the "SS" and "CAMARO" emblems either, but different strokes for different folks I guess...

it just cleans up the car...plus, with certain colors (like mine) chrome and white SS badges just don't look as good

Lol. The wrap is what sets this car apart. And also the meaning behind the hood wrap is beneficial for those tracking it(reduces glare). To each his own though!
