1. Create an "Alternating Strobe" program.
2. For "Channels 1" select the channels that you want to heartbeat.
3. For "Channels 2" leave this empty (no channels).
4. Leave the colors default (Color 1: red, Background: black). Color 2 is not used, and can be set to any color.
5. Set "Num Strobes" to 2.
6. Adjust "On Duration" and "Off Duration".

Here are a few alterations:
- Set the background to about 50% red.
- Invert the colors: (Color 1: black, Background: red).
- Change Color 1 of this inverted color from black to 50% red.

Let me know how you like it.
Someone post a video of this one! I don't have time to goof with mine for a few days but I'd like to see what this does.

Just piling on here - huge fan of the kit. Probably the most recognizable feature that gets the most looks and comments is the breathe feature at night. Cannot even count the number of times people crossing the street downtown stop and get that astonished look on their face and give the thumbs-up.

I typically drive with static green on the halos and the backlit-grill just to avoid a questionable look from the police. But will flip programs to show it off with friends, meet-ups, etc.

Just got my kit installed the other day, and all I can say is WOW this system is incredible.

The install video is thorough, and the torx bits, wire ties and mastic tape being included was a bonus. They have thought of everything.

And great support as well. I sent Joe a PM late at night expecting I would get a response by the time I got home from work the next day. He replied and made some great suggestions within 10 minutes.

Does anybody have anymore tips/shortcuts or cool tricks on programing their system? I have the basics down, and just reread this thread and see the solution for a heartbeat(which I will try tomorrow)

Hey Joe I am going to give these quick disconnects a go. When having my supercharger installed they had to cut some wires. This would have made things night and day easier. What ya think.

Thanks. A little bit of time playing with the system and you'll be able to create some very cool programs.

Quick connects like this make it so much easier working on a car. With all of your custom wiring, I would think this is a MUST!

How do I connect an RGB strip to the Halo controller? What connectors do I use?

We now have the pigtails on our website for sale. The pins are very small, and to get a proper crimp, the correct crimper is required. We can sell the pins and connectors too, or we can point you to an online supplier. PM me if this info is needed.

A quick question to users waiting on the Android app:

Which version of Android do you think that we should support?

The app is making good progress, though still taking longer than we would like. We know that we will support 4.0 and later. We could add support back to 2.3, but that would take extra time. Do you think 4.0 and later is reasonable?

If you don't know which OS version you have, you'll need to go into settings and the about panel, and look under "Android Version".

I would imagine 4.0 and later would be fine, it goes back a couple years.

Here is another pic for you. This car got 2x Grill strips, mail slot, engine bay, DRLs, trunk, interior, and wheel lighting, all controlled by NightOwl.

Question; I was playing around with them today, decided to tweak my heartbeat and breathe program and have only the halos and grill light going in red.Problem I couldn't get my turnsigs to stay off.I have the switchbacks powered by the module.I can get them to breathe/beat.They(turnsigs) are unchecked in the program. Still enjoying these for sure, need to do under the hood and interior, any recommendations?
