Considering I already installed mine and didn't leave a single scratch I am pretty sure I have earned the right to say a screwdriver works. But thank you for input.

That's how I did it. Trim tool kits are inexpensive though, so I may pick up a set at Harbor freight for future use.

Is the groove supposed to be body color or left black? (How does the factory do the ZL1s?)

Who bloody CARES! That "groove" is basically the area under/between the bottom of the door and the rocker and sits back a little and completely unseen unless you're laying on the ground looking in there.

I wanted it white so JUST the actual flared area would be black. Not a huge deal either way but I'm happy with my choice. Time will tell once they are on though

You have one of the sickest cars on here! That being said the groove being left black is the better way to go imo . I looked at a lot of different options for paint before installing mine. When the groove was painted it threw off the flow especially towards the back of the rocker behind the door.
They don't look "bad" either way just my observation and opinion. Please don't think I'm hating on them they will look great on your car! Are you going to do the ZL1 diffuser? Anyway heres a pick of mine...

I know you were'nt bashing. I'm sure it will look good either way. I've not even seen any close up pics of both ways so I just made a quick call and gave instructions :P You car looks good with em man. I'm considering the diffuser but I'm in the market for a cam right now :P

Thanks for the above bolded comments!

Got the rockers on!

The dash trim kit was useful as I worked down the stock rockers:

BUT a needle nose was WAY WAY easier one you got some room to work!

Complete Halfway home I stopped as it was getting dark and snapped a few quick pics for y'all:

FL1CK says he will post a vid or two that he took soon......
