I like different/many kinds of performance cars and this will always be a cat & mouse game between Chevy & Ford... so nothing wrong with the back n forth... competition & rivalry is good! And to an avid car enthusiast or collector, that's even better!

Like someone said the '10-'12 Mustang rear get mixed emotions but it's not that bad after all. The '13 refreshed fixed it. Now for the '14 Camaro, we see its rear fascia revision is a big departure from our '10-'13s but IMO the new refresh isn't as grotesque as many are purporting it to be. We'll all learn to live and like (or continue to dislike) as time passes. I can't wait to see the new models in person, especially the Z/28. I'm just glad GM is offering plenty of choices to fit different people's needs.

I know no one actually knows the answer considering it was just revealed, but does anyone "think" based on the pics that the diffusor, splitter, rockers and those wheel well lips from the Z/28 will translate over to the SS.

I was going to order a 2013 1LE but waited to see the 2014. Unfortunately, in Canada, the order date for 2013's has passed so I have to wait to order a 2014. I like the refresh but HATE the diffusor on the SS. I'm looking forward to seeing the 1LE... those Recaro's look solid as well!

Those wheel well lips are for the z28 only because of the 305/30/19 that go all the way around

Im not sure how I feel about the new design front and rear, for one the front I think people will get used to however the back I cant see going anywhere the tailights look like their out of an Acura integra or legend they just dont fit that Camaro theme, as for me I think ill stick with my 2011 SS I just paid it off and the new ones arent worth going back into debt over....

I'm not sure if these refresh adjustments were to entice current owners to trade as much as it is to bring in new buyers that may not have liked the old look. I remember comments from some magazines about the 2010 looking too "Cartoonish".

Any of this sound familiar?

I was looking at the motor trend app and read this interview about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee.

When asked about the controversial new styling, Manley said, “I think, like any forward looking design, that’s new into the market, you’re going to get reactions to it. That’s the wonderful thing about styling and design; it evokes different emotions from different people.” Manley continued, “It’s one of those designs that the initial reaction is kind of polarizing. People fall into one camp or another.”

While Manley acknowledges the new design is polarizing, he said the feedback since the official images were released is “beginning to shift over to the positive side.” To get a real understanding of the car’s design, Manly says the 2014 Cherokee must be seen in person, and we’d agree.

Pretty good point, that is how it usually goes with any new design. Something Scott (FBODFATHER) has said on many occasions. I forget what his percentages thing is, he says it earlier in this thread, or one of the other Z/28 threads.

I personally grew to love the new look faster than expected. I only wish I could have one...

50/50/80 rule

50% will like, 50% will not, 80% of the "not like" will eventually like/accept.

If they would have used the rear end from the Corvette C7 that would have looked nice IMO.

The collective "sky is falling" attitude of some of you people is pathetic. Go buy a Ford.

that would be fine except for the only thing that runs in a Ford is the owners mouth. Hahaha

As requested, I went and looked at a refreshed Camaro in person. It still looks like crap to me, as I said it would before I saw it in person.

It makes a nice Impala sibling though.

If you didn't like it then, you most likely wont like it later. Time can soften some things, but ugly is still ugly in the future.

I will wait and see. The Impala is an excellent example of GM nailing a styling upgrade of an older model. But with the old Impala couldn't get any worse IMHO. Hopefully the Camaro will be helped too.

You make it sound like no one can have an opinion if it's not like yours. I've said it before and will so again, I DO NOT LIKE IT. It appears to look like a hastily made redesign to me and that GM capitulated to the Corvette crowd to give us that horrendous rear end. Other than the chrome strip on the front it's not that bad though, just looks uninspired.

2014 Camaro

I had a 2010 Camaro 2LT RS in red jewel tint coat. then I had a 2013 Silverado all star edition. And went back to the Camaro a 2014 2LT RS in CRYSTAL RED METALIC. And I love it. COPO
