No joke! I wish it was too. One speaker, optional A/C, and no trunk carpeting.... i wish i could afford another car. But for now i'll stick to my SS. An LS7 would be very nice though!

Nothing sounds better than a naturally aspirated, hi-reving, small block....... or big block for that matter............ wouldn't that be cool, a 5th gen big block Camaro, sorry mental tangent

It would be awesome if someone had a two-car garage, and one is a ZL1, and the other is a Z28! Maybe that could be me someday, but I'll need a 3-car garage because I'm hanging onto my Transformers Edition.

I like this quote about the 2014 Camaro, and I'm sure he means 2014 Z28. It follows along the lines I first felt about when I heard about the 14 Z28, "Give the people what they want."

----

“The 2014 Camaro is our opportunity to apply what we have learned listening to our customers, and our continuing development of high-performance models,” said Tom Peters, Camaro exterior design director. “We look for solutions that are both functional and beautiful so that the result is genuine Chevrolet – simple, powerful, honest, and more than expected.”

Man I wish I could afford one and I wish I still had my 1980 Z28 to be garage buddies! LOL
Haa no worries, I just thought it was funny, between all the social media sites, and all the threads on this site and the homepage here etc. and the TV news and internet news etc etc you just happened across the exhaust tone and said thres a new Z/28?

good times!

I wish I could too :(

There's dyno rollers so they could get a good sound clip without the rush of wind, or having somebody standing on the side of the road and only getting a passing sound. This way, they can get a clip of the engine under load without even going outside.

Hell yea, I'm with you on that, I wish back when I ordered my SS they had this, a/c delete and everything else to lighten the car like the Z28, no radio or a/c in my IROC and 71, the less weight the better, Team Camaro made the Z28 perfect.

Where did the sound byte come from? I agree it sounds like a dyno in the background. It would be fun to see the numbers.
