2014 camaro tail lights are identical to.....

1969 camaro tail lights! these were clearly the inspiration to the new tail lamps...

reverse lights are even in the same spot.

No way you can call that identical. The 69 does not wrap around the corner. The look more like the late 70's lights with lenses to match the color scheme of the 69. But no way are they identical.

They may not be 100% identical because they wrap around the corner, but the general shape looks very similar and as the OP said - even the reverse light is in the same spot. Thanks for sharing the pic and pointing it out, OP!

The OP has a better better eye then you if you see Honda when you look at the back of the new camaro. I thinks he's spot on with his line of thinking.

I see inspiration from the 1st and 2nd gen. Growing on me each time I look at it, wish I had seen it in person.

No, i think you missed my point, I now associate the two, because of all the prelude references on this site...

I guess the wrap around has something to do with regulations and safety? but it kills the look for me. The rear end of the '10-'13 is one of, if not the strongest points of the car for me.

I've seen all the references too and I don't think Honda when I see it.

i didn't see a 2014 rear of a camaro, and think honda. i saw the rear of a prelude, and just associated it with the new camaro because of all the references from this site. If you can't "see" that, then that's too bad for you.

It's 69 retro with 2nd gen wrap around. It does look a but Honda prelude type but it'll grow on ppl. They should've made these on the 2010s.
Anyway like anything else it takes time but it'll grow on ppl

Don't get so upset just because I don't have a clouded way of looking at things that aren't there. There are places you can go to get help if you want it.

the C7 guys were saying they got Camaro tail lights....I never saw that at all...but the prelude references and red lego brick references are spot on.

The Z/28 masks a lot of it but the "regular" SS looks like hammered dog shit!
How about that chrome strip on the grill and around the headlights

Can we get some factory option curb feelers too???

lol, i'm far from upset, like you. How do I have a clouded way of looking at things? There have been numerous posts, and pictures of preludes in the last 48 hours. I never once said i thought they looked the same. I only said it reminded me of a camaro, because of the posts from this site.
