Zeta (Camaro/Commodore/G8) suspension details
Maybe this forum should be called "wheels, tires and suspension" ?
![]() Found this in my trips around the internet. This is probably a G8 underbody, but the Camaro should be very similar if not identical. http://forums.peddersusa.com/showthread.php?p=1337 Front ![]() ![]() Rear ![]() ![]() Seems pretty advanced according to these guys. I'm excited

I dunno what type of car those pix came from, but agree. True duals would be a blessing! That and the IRS is going to make this one hell of a ride.

I could swear I saw those under what was claimed to be a Camaro. I could be wrong but now I feel bad for not posting these images already because I thought they were already here.

Nice, looks like there might be room for dual electric cutouts right after those initial cats!

I'm not so sure about true dual. I admit, Based on the pics there is no real need to cross the two since there is a cat a muffler on each side. But they pinch together in this photo. Obviously there's a reason for it. Maybe just more room for the exhaust that way? But it looks real promissing for true dauls.

I'd love some true duals with cutouts. I'm not sure they would ever be closed.
I could've swore I saw those pictures right around the time the pics' showed up where they landed in the US, or a month-or-two before that. Oh well; we'll find out in a while.

I've noticed that muscle car/domestic fans just don't embrace new layouts, technologies, and the like as quickly as other car groups. I mean that as no disrespect to anyone here, because I am the same way myself. So I'm sure that over time the muscle car guys will grow to accept and trust IRS.

That narrowing just before the IRS/Diff area could be leading to an X-Pipe, that would be awesome, i love the mellower sound that you get with an X-Pipe. If it allrdy comes with one, and the exhaust is at lest 2.5 inches, i dont see anything that i'd need to do to the exhaust other then a set of Flowmaster 40's or some Magnaflows

I can tell right now, changing the spark plugs on this one will probably not be easier than the Gen. IV.
Same with the headers!

I can't speak about the headers, but do you really think the plugs will be that bad? Half the engine isn't hiding under the cowl like the 4th gen. It looks pretty open under there.

It can't be any worse then Dodge and having to take the tire off to change it, can it?
