Wobbly steering wheel between 50mph and 75mph

Hey guys...hope you can help me out with this...as the title above mentions...I have a steering wheel that vibrates/wobbles/even swings vigourously between 50mph and 75mph. Now generally this happens when your wheels aren't balanced. Funny thing is that I just got new wheels and tires a couple of days ago and all the necessary work (wheel balancing & alignment) was done after wheels and tires were installed. The car drove fine for two days...and its not even like I drove over anything odd....just good ol smooth tarmac...and this morning for some odd reason the wheel started wobbling between those speeds. I took it back to the tire guys, they checked and they said everything was fine...so why the steering is still shakin is yet a mystery to them too.

Any guesses why this is happening? Axle or something?

Probably lost a weight. Sometimes they do not stick on and can come off.

Sounds like a belt broke in one of the new tires.
I just had the old wobbly, vibrating steering wheel thing happen to me and that was the cause, the tire finally blew apart and replaced it all good now....

Move the front tires to back, back to the front. If it goes away it is a tire. I have got a new bum tire more than once in the past.

properly rebalance the wheels. you could have a bad tire but i would think the balance is a muh higher probability to be the issue

Back to the tire shop for a road force balance to see if a tire is bad or a weight has been lost.

If you have new wheels they may need to be re-torqued also, but you are likely looking at heading back to the store for a re-balance. Be sure that the wheels you have are either Hub Centric, or have Hub Rings installed in the wheels.

Thanks for your feedback guys...will certainly look into it ASAP!!

I doubt its rebalancing....however I need to look into the hub-centric issue....there maybe a possibility that the rings may not have been installed now that I think about it!

Once again, thanks!
