It happens alot when turning and backing up but now its fixed.

I keep seeing people having issues like this countless threads were created with this issue including mine before, GM needs to seriously look into this.

I hope this doesn't turn into a gremlin hunt. The car has never had one issue before and all of a sudden it won't run. Will find out when I get the car back.

I'm telling you bro, I smell something fishy about this issue. I thought it was just me before and then a lot of c5 members keep posting threads about this issue and yours just added.

my dealer kept busting my balls about this and refused to check my car with my "MODS" so I had to put my stock intake and headlights back on just to satisfy their claim.

Update

I picked up the car today from the dealer. It made it all the way home without dying. The warranty receipt says replaced Fuel Module aka fuel pump. Hopefully its fixed now

My apologies to Ivan if I offended you in any way . This was just a coincidence with TB install.

When I picked up the car they brought it to me in the service court. The tech got out of the car and said that my car sounded bad ass . I asked him if he revved it up in the bay and he said he wasn't allowed to start it cause it rumbled to loud. I took that as one of the best compliments I have ever had. I love the JBA's and muffler delete.

Well the problem is back again so it's back to the drawing board. I think I am going to try the Vmaxx exchange I am pretty sure that's whats causing the problem.

Smile Stalled

Yeap my 10 did the same thing, whipple, cam, ARH full exhaust, all of that stuff and Sunday at 35 mph it sounded and felt like it ran out of fuel, I just just filled the tank so that is not it. Tries to start but does not happen. Guess the question is now what?
This car has 12K on it and only 6K on the build. I am 70 years old I don't do stupid stuff, well as for as driving goes anyway.
Can't take this to a dealer because they are worthless and I don't trust them with my car.

I hate to say this but I am not sure at this point. This build was done by a bunch down in GA. and not very happy with some of the things that were done.
But have to say the car runs or ran very well up to this stall out, only thing I could see was it ran a little on the rich side which was good on top end but not so good in traffic. I have not pulled a code yet but soon. Any help a anyone lots of thanks

Checkin in.

Talked to Matt (FSP) and Pete both again today. Matt is willing to check it out Free of charge if you wanna roll it by sometime. Best to touch bases with him since he's been all up and down the coast helpin out and doing some destination tuning.

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...&highlight=fsp

He's actually in PCB today and offered to hook it up asap if you touch bases with him. Lemme know and Pete also offered to replace the TB if that what ends up being what it is.

Here to help for whatever is needed!

Anything you need please let me know. We have all of the GM MDI/dealer level access programming also, so easy to diagnose if need be. We are only up here till Saturday though, we'll be back end of May.

I'm telling you. they have "fixed" and sent me on my way with the same problem I kept coming back for a whole month. I don't know what the service rep asked my dealer mechanics to do but they actually checked everything like an overall diagnosis and reprogrammed my car and thats how they found that defective wire that messes up the computer that stalls my car.

Well the car is still stalling worse than ever. Dealership is telling me it's my CAI and other simple bolt ons so I am going to have to demod the car so they can take another look at it. I can't get it to run more that a couple minutes without stalling.

I got the car back on Friday and they ended up replacing the ECU. So far no problems so I am keeping my fingers crossed.

They asked me if I had my car tuned (which I don't) but I thought they could tell by looking at the flash counter. If this is true then why did they have to ask me?

Hey man, long time no see. Hope replacing the ECU is the final fix for you!! What a nightmare situation for your car. Pretty dumb that the dealer wanted you to go back to stock (air intake, etc) for something like this IMO.

Yeah its fixed It was just a coincidence that it went out the same day that I installed the V-Max. I have called you a couple of times but your a hard person to get a hold of. Matt@FSP is supposed to tune and header the car but he didn't want to touch it till the computer issue was fixed. It's ready for him now. Let me know if you guys want to do dinner sometime.

Ha! I'm not that hard to get hold of! I do remember you calling once but saw the call quite a bit later so never got back to you. My bad.
Yeah, we should do dinner sometime. I think Matt is supposed to be here at the end of this month from what I heard? So maybe in the next week or two you can get the headers and tune! I just got my headers on yesterday. I will tune it this weekend as well. I wanted to go with Matt and the IPF but it was just too much money for me. Went with Trifecta instead.

Get hold of me...again........and we'll all do dinner sometime soon!
