I havn't seen a car with it but if I were you I would get it in the gray they offer. Black seems to be to much a contrast with SIM in my opinion. Of course this is just my opinion

I am having the Ridergraphix Dark Charcoal trunk blackout done on my SIM next week - I will post as soon as it's done along with matching hood spears. I did not get the bumper graphic though.

sounds cool, glad you got the charcoal rather then the black. Black on SIM is just to much of a contrast imo.

Has GM released the rear blackout yet?

I have factory stripes on mine so I need to stick with the factory rear blackout!

I am considering this for my SIM, but only the panel between the lights with the bowtie on it. Since I have CGM stripes, I think I may buy the rally stripe kit from GM and cut it to fit. That way the colors match. Maybe next month.

Did this one yesterday on a dealers car. I know it is only the center piece, but hopefully it helps you. It is flat black on IOM. We also include the two small pieces between the lights.

That emblem unscrews I believe. Why not just make the vinyl go almost to the screw holes on the trunk rather then trying to outline the Chevy emblem?

I only bring it up becuase it looks a little cheese the way it is.

We have two styles listed with and without the cutout. Take your pick.

Anyone can clearly see that webpage was last updated on May 31st, and you post pics on June 21st and think we owe you something? We used the 69 design as our inspiration, and your stripe is not even close to the same design.

First of all, sorry to the OP. this is completely off topic. I have no idea why he started this here instead of starting a new thread or waiting for my reply to his pm. It does not belong here.

Now, on to my reply.....

snofyter, what do you want? A plaque? A blue ribbon? I could see if it was an original design and we actually copied it, but it's not and we did not. You think because we did something similar now I owe you something for free?

As far as Venom goes, he did not steal your idea either, I sent him our design and asked him to do a photoshop rendering for me.

Actually, I never even saw your design until you sent me the PM earlier today. I have been planning on doing this stripe since October of last year.

I guess we copied your side vent decals too. You can be sure of one thing, we WILL NOT be copying your lower rocker design.

Yeah, they are close...... Your stripes don't even follow the lines of the car.

An original '69 that was used to model them after.

No Venom DID NOT STEAL the design. I never said that he did. He responded to my request in the forum and posted the photoshop based on an idea I had. Maybe he was already working on it for you when I posted the request. I was unaware of any connection with a professional shop. I thought he was just a guy with better photoshop skill than me helping me out.

I saw Venom's credit on the picture on your website when I was looking for the rear and trunk fascia kit.

I just thought that it was my unique design. I have never seen that stripe with the stripes going towards the windshield on a '67. My loss I guess. Oh well, good luck with your business.

He did not do the design for us. We did the design with NEVER even seeing your original idea. He only did the photoshop pic for our website AFTER we had the design laid out.

Venom sent me a PM last night and has cleared this up for me.

Essentially he said, that he had been working on the design, except for the slant toward the wheelwell in my version, since last November.

He also pointed out that there's at least one difference between my stripes, his design and Autoguy's final product.
