They look great! I like how the 2.0 shape matches the exterior shape of the lights better. The inside of the lamp is still round though. I am wondering if there is a strange mismatch when the brake lights are on.

Can someone please post a pic of the new afterburners with the brake lights on?

Yep, here ya go. It's not exact, but the light is so bright that it virtually fills the whole area. I can honestly say that I love the Afterburners even more than I thought I would, they are bad ass! And really BRIGHT! They would have no problem shining brightly thru just about any level of tint.

And I tried to do a video of the flashers to show the difference, but the camera couldn't adjust to the brightness fast enough and it just looked like the lights were on the whole time. Sorry...

Thanks for the pic! I agree, the light fills in the area and it is hard to spot any mismatch. I definitlely like these better than the original version.

The reflector is causing the rings to look like pictured but the halos are not going to be square because the reflector will distort the ring and not give you the same appearance.

The afterburner halo design was designed to duplicate the concept car and they were not like this on the concept car.

If you wanted to make something like this you can use our concept LED strip at the top of the halo.

I stand corrected. If you take a picture with the flash it will give you the exact same look because of the reflector at the top of each tail light housing.

DarkCry956: In case that wasn't enough info above, you should pair the 2 red wires together and put them in 1 tap and clamp it down, then do the same for the 2 black wires. If you're pairing the wires together then you should only need 4 T taps total. 2 for the driver's side and 2 for the passenger's side.

Can you use 2.0 plasma as dual filament? Low light as parking light and high light as brake/turn signal?

We would not suggest that in this case because it is very important that traffic sees you braking, it is much better to have the entire center of the lights illuminate rather than just the ring.

So you recommend afterburners are wired to go on with parking lights. Do you have video which shows when brakes are applied?

No video that I know of, the brake lights would look exactly the same way they look now.
