Plasma would be best, as it is the best of both worlds... they have yet to offer this option though.

Not likely CCFL but we are looking at a Plasma™ LED version:

What do they get wired into? I'd want them on whenever the car is on.

Usually to the parking lights but if you want them on with the car you can go to the fuse box on the driver side, most of those are ignition.
