2013 Camaro SS - Mylink glitches/problems

I was wondering if anyone else with a 2013 Camaro is having various glitches in their MyLink? After 6 months I can give some fairly detailed examples:
1) From time to time the the fan speed indicator will stop displaying what number it's on. The fan works and functions ok, just the MyLink display no longer works.

2) Bluetooth- completely not operational. It's more rare but when it gets to this state the system will not recognize or pair with any phone I have. Restarting the car (park, come back an hour later, ignition- problem solved).

3) System appears semi-frozen. Radio works but does not refresh. Saving new stations will not refresh with new name on the favorites. None of the indicators work such as volume, fan speed etc.

I will upload a youtube video shortly "catching it in the act". I have to say I'm a little disappointed at how frequent I run in to these issues.

Did you try to reset all the settings? Like restore option on the phone?

I would take it in to the dealer. Mine has never done anything like that. the only issue I have is that it very rarely get stuck when playing MP3's from a flash drive, but I think it's a MP3 error causing it to stop. I turn it off and on and it is able to skip to the next song. The other functions are unaffected.

I did not reset settings on "MyLink" to the best of my knowledge.. although, if memory serves I think everything was reset once after a maintenance. This problem has been on-going since day 1, it's an annoyance but just not quite enough to drag myself to a dealership and wait for half a day. My youtube video is almost uploaded, I'll post it very shortly to demonstrate- it's really messed up when it gets in that state.

Sometimes when I start up my car, as it does that fancy little "mylink" opening start up screen, it freezes and looks all pixelated.

There is a mylink update that addresses several issues, check with your dealer.

ive had a coupel small glitches with mine.

sometimes mine will get hung on the info of a song, after the song has switched, the song info wont change to the new song.

and when trying to use the Nav,the buttons wont work to type an address in.

Some problems just seem to persist. I had an early 2010 SS that did this until I got a PDIM update.

I have some weird issues after the latest update by the dealer. All my presets disappeared, and didn't come back after restarting the vehicle. The next morning, they were back! This was 3 days post update.

I had the fan problem too.

Those rat bastards! I've been having issues with my mylink for awhile now. My iphone/ bluetooth will not worth for the life of me.

I had my car into the dealer a week ago and they said there were no updates! I'm pissed.

Also, i can't get any pictures to upload... Any ideas?

I have trouble with my bluetooth If I receive a call and change the source back over to my iphone so I can have a private conversation my call will switch back over to bluetooth after about a min on its own. . I cant get it to stop taking over. I shut the bluetooth off for now.

Never had a problem with mylink ever..but probly should get the update....and no it wont let you do a background just view pics on its screen :{

The only problem I've actually had with mylink is sometime the info displays on the HUD, sometimes not, it so random. Not that worried about it.

I logged in to Chevrolet's site with my account, didn't actually see a "recall" on my 2013 Camaro. I think these problems are rather wide spread but small enough glitches that most people ignore or don't talk about it much. It's one of these things you can "live with" but to me it just feels like it was slapped together without much quality control. Just my humble opinion. The rest of the car is great otherwise.

For MyLink issues, please feel free to call the Infotainment General Support number at (855)-478-7767. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday (8 a.m. to 10 p.m.) and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The dealer can also assist with infotainment issues or inquiries but the number is for easy over-the-phone advice.

Never have had a single problem with MyLink, Bluetooth, fav refreshes, etc so I wouldn't assume problems are "widespread".

Call the number ^^ (thanks William) or take it to the dealer.
