Got the 3M on my last 2 cars and on my ZL1. Best thing I could have done for the bumper. I had so many rock chips on my other camaros prior to repainting the bumper. Now, cant even tell there's a clear bra on it. My clear bra guy did mine custom cut instead of using the normal template so you can barely see the lines on the clear bra unless you look really hard. Cost me $500

For the full detail and Opti-Coat 2.0, I think it was about $350. Opti-Coat 2.0 isn't like a clear bra, though. It's just another semi-permanent clear coat that's tougher than the factory clear coat. I'm sure if a rock was thrown up from the road, it could still chip the paint. The clear bra would add more protection in that regard.

Best money I ever spent.

Steal! I was quoted $899 by tint world and then lowered to $499, but only for front bumper. I want:

  • Front bumper
  • A-pillars and top of windshield
  • Side view mirrors
  • Just behind front and rear tires
  • Trunk liftover
Quote was $1,299. I slowed my roll after that. Gotta find somebody to do it right and reasonable.

You can pay cheap but don't complain if the job doesn't turn out right. I'd rather pay more and know my car is done with 100% perfection.

Just like the guy I always use. He's not cheap but he does perfect work.

No mine was just for the front bumper. Everything else would have been extra $$$. But my guy did the whole bumper free hand so the lines where the two pieces meet are very un-noticiable. I've seen another ZL1 where they also did a clear bra and the lines were very noticable.
