Auto Cross Tires using Stock Sizes

Does anyone know of a good auto cross tire that would be better than street tires? Either I would like stock or bigger for the sizes?

Best thing you can do is pick up an extra set of rear wheels to run on the front and then get something like Nitto NT05's in 275 all around. Or get the NT555 if you need wet weather traction. You won't find much of anything thats sticky in the OEM staggered fitment.

Or you need bigger rims and runNto5's 275 front 315 rears, or the Invo's

Look in to the toyo r888 in 285/35r20 or the new bfg rivals in 285/35r20 those would be great performing tires im planning on the rivals in 285's all the way around once we finish killing these pzeros this season at autocross
But weve also got 3 sets of wheels so we have a daily set and a set of autoX wheels

Well the r888 isn't meant for stock width wheels, I wouldn't be going over 275 on a 9" since handling suffers putting a larger tire on smaller rim especially for this type of use. If he stepped up to a 10" then it would be good on a second set of wheels
