Of course an important milestone for both Ruby and her mate Red Raider was the garage build. For that I did start a garage build thread to doccument the whole process so I will just link that & post a few pics here.

Here is the view from our deck of the garage base laid out showing our heavily tatooed neighbor's mess of blackberry overgrowth we are glad to not have to look at anymore. Though 2 of our neighbors have now put up ugly Po-white-trash above ground pools we now need to figure a way to not have to look at.

We put caution tape up trying to keep the guys fron walking through the carport around the Camaros. They said they had a hard time focusing on their work due to looking at our cars.

It all came together pretty quickly but it felt like forever. We are still gradually working on the inside to staytuned to the Garage build thread too.

Then Ryan wrecked the Neon (luckily, he was unhurt) so we leased the Cruze for him to use until he left for the army. I has saved 20K mileage on Ruby serving as my main daily driver since he left. And here is a pic of me in my office where I do the work that allows me to have my Ruby. For those who don't know I am a mental health therapist for preschoolers.

Then Ruby got her team LLT badges & Ruby's owner continued to work on the driver weight reduction mod (still working on that one). BTW I have lost more since those pics!

Here is the pic of the modification Mike made to the catch can installation to make it safer. He was worried that the bolt threads did not go very far into the mount on the radiator & he worried it could work loose. Someone asked me about this not long ago & I could not find the pic so here it is now.

Thanks. We have a lot of fun looking for stuff for it & working on it when we are not working on the cars. Us empty nesters have to keep busy.

They are Lorenzo WL021 Matte Black/machined wheels. I bought & had them powder coated to match at Hunter's Custom Automotive in Nashville. Mounted with Faulken FK425 Tires. The wheels were $250 each and I paid $150 each to have them powder coated. The whole set-up ended up being about $2850. That was about a year ago.

Thanks. I stressed over it long enough! I have been pleased with them too.
