Los Angeles RANT

Okay, not trying to ruffle any feathers for you City of Angels residents...

But... Your traffic SUCKS, your roads SUCK, and the drivers....
... if the clowns in the faster lanes, would learn to accelerate, you would probably have less issues.

I am sure you all probably agree with me. Hell, traffic in the DC area SUCKS.

Visiting from the east coast, Washington DC area, and they say our traffic is worse... NOPE, NADA, WRONG. You guys get the award!

Can't tell you what highways I was on, just following the GPS's instructions. The highways are so rough, I got so tired of hearing "tire-slap", My P-Zero's when cold are smoother than what I was experiencing in a freaking Corolla!

No way an SS or a Vette can get better mileage on the highway than the side streets, the highways are NO FASTER! What a waste of a V-8, might as well put 4-bangers in everything out here, you can't use the other 4!

Guys, I truly feel for you. Come on out east, experience our roads and traffic, and you can let me know how much DC Area traffic sucks!

LAians, I saw some of you, I didn't bother waving to any of you, as I woulda looked like an idiot waving from a Corolla. :-)

Enjoying my visit, seeing my kids, they both moved out here from Virginia.

Seriously, I feel for you all, and wish you all the very best.

Jim

"LA" is a pretty vast area...some more congested than others...a lot of older cities, newer cities...All different, all unique, all somewhat the same....Runs the whole gamut...A-Z...

You will never be able to fill the tax coffers , they have no bottom , we keep trying to do just that , but it's a losing battle
It's more like a black hole , it really sucks everything they steal from us .
Regarding your kids , they will get use to it .

Kids have been out here for years (one for about 6, the other 2 or 3). They are as used to it as they will get.

Taxes are the same way all over. But anyone in office with a half of a brain, and it CAN be balanced. (just my opinion)

Hell, out here in CA, pot is so easy to get legally, and get the scripts to do so... hell, legalize it and tax the hell out of it.

If you are in the El Segundo area, I'll be looking for you as I am out and about.

Jim

Jimbo, El Segundo and you're complaining?...lol...It's a very desirable city...Considering where it is, that's about as small town and isolated as you can get...Your kids did good...lol...

California has the highest taxes too haha. I personally could never live somewhere like that. New York is bad enough as it is. Can't wait to move to somewhere with warmer weather, lower taxes, better politics and open roads

For you to find me , you will have to drive way north from there , more like 400 miles or so.
Anyway it's good to have you around the neighborhood , just hold on to your Benjamins , they tend to fly off one's hands
But seriously , don't compare the ride between the corola and the Camaro , again !!!

I'm definitely leaning towards Texas at the moment. I love everything about that state.
