L99 to LS3 conversion... how to tune out VVT?

Does VVT have to be tuned out on an L99 after the swap?

I'm not sure if its tuned out or the parts themselves change it but I did the L99 to LS3 conversion with tune and no longer have VVT.

I'm just curious how to do it since my tuner does all this through email. I want to be able to tell him what to delete. lol
