Ya baby.... My first official drive!

My "First" official drive! Been working on this '66 Mustang for a while. The stock 289 had 2 spun bearings, so upon discovery decided that if it needed bored on the rebuild i'd soup it up. Needed bored so ordered a 347 stroker kit. 268 Comps cam, aluminum heads, etc.

After the rebuild fought various issues, mainly because I have not had much grease under my finger nails for 20+ years....

Got everything sorted out now. This thing is an animal, 40 mph roll will roast the tire (not tires yet). I'm so stoked about my project,.... I'd even put it on a Camaro site... LOL

Congrats on your progress. I am working on a 54 Chevy 3100 now. Build is complete, on to disassembly and paint stripping.

This thing is far from nice, but has a solid drivetrain now. When I bought it I had plan to restore it. What's nice is they are still cheap to buy and every piece can be bought for them.
