U0101 code

I keep on getting a U0101 code over and over but the car feels no different. Now, I just got my brakes serviced not sure if there is anything near the brakes that can be moved which leads to this code. Or if you have run into this code for any other reason let me know since I dont know if I should be worried or not??

thanks ahead of time for looking into thread...

U0101 CHEVROLET Description
Modules connected to the high speed General Motor Local Area Network (GMLAN) serial data circuits monitor for serial data communications during normal vehicle operation. Operating information and commands are exchanged among the modules. The modules have prerecorded information about what messages are needed to be exchanged on the serial data circuits, for each virtual network. The messages are supervised and also, some periodic messages are used by the receiver module as an availability indication of the transmitter module. The supervision time-out period is 250 ms. Each message contains the identification number of the transmitter module

I know I'm a bit late to this party but yesterday during a race this code popped up. It was on the 10th lap, so things were getting pretty hot by then. My car went into limp mode back to the pits, the differential temp gauge flat lined and some messages popped up. I let the car cool down reset the codes and checked fluid levels. Everything seems ok now. Could it have just been an issue of over heating?
