How to wax camaro with vinyl stripes?

For those of you that have the vinyl stripes put on by the dealership, how do you wax your cars? I thought I would ask before I risk screwing something up. Any tips or recommended products would be great. Thanks!

If you have the factory Matte Black Stripes I tape the edges of the stripes and wax around them. If they are matte you don't want to wax them because it will leave the residue behind and leave a whitish color behind. I made this mistake at first but was able to clean it up with an All purpose cleaner and then I treated the Vinyl with a Vinyl cleaner

I use 1.5 inch blue painter's masking tape. I mask the edges of the stripes and use Americana right up to the edge. After that dries, I mask the other way and use VRT on the stripes. I use a Q-tip to apply it to the pinstripe.
