Camaro Adhesive Emblems

I am trying to find these two emblem styles, without the posts. I am thinking about putting them on the fender and don't want to drill any holes.

Anyone know a good place to find them with adhesive backings? or just without the posts?

Ive searched on here and the usually places to find resto parts, but it seems everything has the posts.

Thanks

Best bet....

www.yearone.com

They have all kinds of stuff there....I didn't see the specific ones you showed, but I only looked through 2 pages of their 174 pages for emblems alone....check them out.

Here's my solution: I wanted the Chevy V-Flag emblems like 67 Camaro, and they all had posts. I sawed them off and filled just shy of the edge with Duplo liquid metal. Let it dry for a few days and let it cure in the sun and sanded surface of liquid metal smooth. Bought 3M double sided automotive tape which is made to attach trim or emblems. Put the V-Flags under the Camaro on each fender and here is the result....

I checked Classic, Year1, and Ecklers, but they seem to all have the posts. I may have to copy you fixxer56, just hopin there was a easier solution that I might have been missing.

Fixxer56, I love what you've done. I loved when I saw it on another post. I'm still in the debating process of removing the block camaro and replacing it with the script and the older SS badges. I'm just afraid i'll jack up the emblem when I start messin with it. Thank you for the detailed instructions, i'm not as afraid to mess with it now.

They look great - you beat me to it - I just ordered these as well and had the same idea to saw off the posts, file down the edge & use 3m tape. I also ordered the script "Camaro by Chevrolet" from the trunk - unsure if I will use on the trunk or inside on the passenger dash. I will post when done eta 1-2 weeks.

ac, honestly, what's the worst you can do to the emblems? Just wrap them in cloth when/if you cut off the posts. The "hard" part will be to trim the double sided tape with a razor blade. I recommend a hobby razor knife with all of the script work on the Camaro. Get 1/2" for that and 3/4" for the SS badges. I used 3/4 on the V-Flag's.About $7.00 a roll at Auto Zone. To space, I used a standard business card and slid the top edge under the Camaro and knew it would be a reference for the top edge of the flag. I washed and dried the fender first, just to make sure there was no heavy wax present. The flags were bought off E-bay for about $19.00 delivered. I started looking over the winter because I knew I had time to find them. Just take your time and enjoy your work!

tjd, I like that badge also and was thinking of the dash area also, or maybe around the shifter. just be careful of the passenger side airbag!

Nice job, fixxer. I'm looking for red SS's for that spot, a little bigger than those on the front and rear. I'm sure many new stick-ons will be coming shortly.

I have purchased many restoration parts from Rick's over the years, and bought 1969 grille, fender and rear panel SS emblems from them for my 2010. They're as nice as any I've seen. Very high quality.

Of course you can use my idea. If it makes the Camaro look better, why not? Also the product I used is Duplo Plastic metal, not liquid metal as I stated before./ Got it at local auto zone for around $5.00
