Custom Paint...........Vote for your favorite

Ok, I know to each his own, but, out of the ones posted which design do you like better?? Suggesting variations is welcome. Keep in Mind I am getting the IOM/Blk interior, so I am trying to tie the colors in.

Thank You Pink Camaro for the original inspiration!

Thanks for the opinion all.

fourth, it's like a modified dale jr. concept! i liked 5 with the hood bulge in silver, but didn't like the half-painted roof.
if 5 had fully painted roof (like 2), i'd be all over that

Good Lord. I suggest a different color combination. I'm not gay, but I know what looks good. If you want your car to look different from everyone else's, that's cool, but make it look good.

This one looks the best..The black line is needed for contrast.. It might even look better if it was all black on the bottom instead of the silver.. Or cyber grey on the bottom with a black stripe just like this..

Fourth one down is best, but the "dividing line" needs to be much thinner....

A different color combo would be best altogether....If you have to stick with these colors, then silver on the bottom, black on top with the orange dividing line....

I prefer and plan on painting mine (IMO) with white pearl sides with a fade down effect and a hand laid pin stripe (probably blue) to divide the two. Then the hood will get some goast pearl stripes with flames. California price about 10K and I own the shop. May I suggest you need to look at angle views befor you deciede. And if you are not going to spend big money for a pro job, dont distroy your car.

What about just some IOM stripes

Just for fun try posting a pic of IOM stripes in the bumble bee layout or going all the way down to the grill like the 69 camaro. I think that it might look better to have stripes than the entire orange top.

The simple two-tone is tight but I like the forth one best.

I like where you're going with the idea. The top pic looks clean, but you need someting to spice up the side of the car where the colors meet. Something to make it pop. The two tone paint is very poplular in the custom truck world, I've seen some AWESOME but tastefully done two tone silver and orange paint jobs done on full size chevys that looked awesome! They usually had a line going down the side and then a small tasteful design on the quarter. Look around you may find something that really strikes a chord!

The black line helps but it doesnt make the car pop, I think it needs a little extra.

I like the second one down. And add a black pinstripes to the line between the two colors (but not as gigantic as the 4th and 5th pictures).

Black on the bottom would look great. I'm guessing you already ordered silver though.

Yes I have a Silver 2SS/RS on Order with an IOM Interior, hence the Orange Roof. I thought it would be very cool to look through and see the orange seats matching the interior accent color. Tie the inside nicely to the outside.

How are the photo shop pics of the silver with orange stripes coming. I would still like to see how that looks and compare it to the options you laid out above. I would definitely bring the stripe down off the hood like the bumble bee style if not all the way to the grill like the 69 z28 style. You could also try a few designs with orange main stripes and black pin stripes on each side of the stripes or vise versa. I think that would look really cool. Post them when you can so we can check them out.
