Arrow 2013 1LT Thin Blue Line (Police Tribute) build thread!

Hey guys! Back in December my parents had brought me down to a dealership and we went car shopping so I can have a car for when I start driving! Since I wasn't old enough to drive my dad and mom test drove it and they were worried about blind spots and it being impractical for my first car. Well, I told them that I really liked the car and I promised I would drive safe and be really careful. After some consideration they said yes and I had a BRAND NEW CAMARO! Name: IMG_8663.jpg
Views: 511
Size: 113.9 KB I was ecstatic! I remember walking out of the dealership with my mom and dad to a brand new camaro! I did my "happy dance" and I didn't realize the dealership had clear windows so all of their staff saw how happy I was to have the car. I admit it was a little embarrassing. But when I got in he car I got my first Perma-grin! I was just thinking to myself that I am so blessed to get an oppurtunity like this! After that we drove home and as soon as everybody got out of the car I jumped behind the steering wheel and just sat there. (perma-grinning of course) I just couldn't describe the feeling I had about it, probably best described like this! I was just so happy! you guys know the feeling! Now after a few months past while I was still over the car, I got bit by this strange bug. The mod bug... I figured since I can't drive it I might as well make it look even more awesome so when I drive it, it will be more than just a car. It will have a meaning to it. It will resemble me and what I stand for so, I named it The Thin Blue Line. Now thats a long name but it has a meaning to it. Due to my families history in Law Enforcement, thats what I wanted the theme of my car to be. So me and my dad went down to autozone today and got some things for the car. The first thing I wanted to do was paint the brake calipers so we painted those blue, heres a picture of before Name: IMG_8696.jpg

Size: 101.8 KB and after:Name: IMG_8702.jpg

Size: 98.2 KB Then we decided to paint the engine cover, first we taped it all offName: IMG_8709.jpg

Size: 108.0 KB and then painted it and let it dry! Name: IMG_8714.jpg
Views: 417
Size: 156.4 KB I am getting blue bezels for the inside and eventually going to upgrade to some custom pin striping along the side and get the grey vinyl stripes off of it. I am so glad to be apart of this wonderful community! There is more to come! Like this:

here is the new mod along with some other things! Got the LED Glow advanced 7 million color underbody and wheel well kit, I got it programmed but not in this video! I will post more videos to this thread! I have already gotten tons of complements. A group of girls walked by it and said "WOW, I'm just waiting for it to transform!" and a mustang parked next to it and walked around and looked it over! I have to say this gets peoples attention! I love it, I got it to flash like police lights BUT I will only be using that when at car shows etc. so it go's with the theme of the car! Grille lighting just tops it off too!

Ok guys did this last night. This is NOT the surprise, figured this would hold you over. Made my own carbon fiber overlay and blacked out the reflectors a little bit. I will have the surprises done by this weekend, trust me it will be worth it. Name: IMG_8723.jpg

Congrats on the new Camaro!

Trust me. The mod bug bites for every car, at least for me it does. Once you start, you can't stop! It's just a ton of fun making the car your own.
