Had it installed before I picked up the car in August 2011 - I now can find 2 spots on the clear bra that would have been paint chips! Do it!

I had one for my 1LT. The cost is worth it if you want to keep the front from getting nicks and dings. Also I found it easy just to wipe down the front from bug guts with some detail spray and not worry about scratching the paint.

the new "talk of the town" in clearbra is the new self-healing from xpel. Lots of vette guys jumped all over this. I already have clear bra, and would of went with this if it was available 2 years ago.

By all means get it. Cheap insurance considering your investment. Make sure you get a good installer and a good product. if you were in Texas I'd hook you up with my guy Texas Venom on this site.

If you haven't already, consider getting film added to your A-pillars, mirror fronts, and gill areas. They take a lot of rock hits as well.

Not getting a clear bra the second I received the key on my car was a horrible mistake. 10 months in, and the paint on my front fascia is ruined. As in, it will need to be repainted. And the car is still virtually new.

It's unbelievable how fragile the paint/clear is. It's disgracefully bad. I realized this weekend I'm just going to have to save 5 grand and have my new car repainted within 36 months of buying it. That's ridiculous.

1st thing I did to mine too!! Like it so much on the nose that I ended up doing almost all forward facing parts of the car!! Xpel Rocks!!! I have a friend with a year old black SS and the front of his car is speckled with little white dots....He soooo wishes he had done it to his car.

Front end & mirrors around $400-500 installed with 10 yr warranty. Roof, running boards, wheel wells, lower doors and A pillars - $350 - $400 in CT anyways...

Idiots at the dealer tried to run me $700 for it!!! No.... ill stick to dabbing the little chips with my touch up paint! That's a great positive in having a black car, the touch up paint works great!
