The shifts heavily favor mph at wot. That's where the work needs to be done to get it right.

Man, tuning those automatics are insane lol. Much more prefer choosing when to shift myself.

John, I might hit the track Tuesday if I see that the DA is low. If I see similiar numbers as last time I will hold off. Thursday wont work for me either this week.

sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.

Motion thanks for your comments, they've inspired me to poke around in my tunes.

So the 2nd to last tune, 1-2 was shift rpm wot 6000 and mph of 32 mph. Now tuner has changed to 25 mph. both were 6000 commanded.

2-3 was 59, now set to 57, and 6000 for old and new.

Where would I find the rev limiter in HTP, what drop down would that be? I'd like to see where it is, I bet it's 6300.

Spark> High and Low octane tables. Then there are modifier tables under spark for IAT correction, ECT correction, and AFR Correction. AFR will likely be 0'd out,

Exactly what Rhino posted.
Most tuners zero the "Spark correction AFR Correction GAS" table and then adjust the low and hi octane tables to the desired timing.
When stock the spark correction afr correction gas add more timing depends on where the AFR is at at WOT.
Example if the ECM commands 1.20 AFR,which is 12.23AFR
On a stock tune(mine anyways),it starts adding timing at 3600 which was (+0.5)all the way up to +5 degrees of timing at 6000RPM.
This table is only activated when your in WOT.
You can add 1-2 degrees and try it,depends on the fuel grade that you have in the car, some like it some hate it.Especially on a stock cam.

The moderator might not like us too much. I thought this was racing section. lol....

Finally found a spot to do a rip, onramp to 90/94... TCS off, 1-2 shift was decent looked low on the tach like 5 grand, (factory tach slow? they used to be for the 4th gens)

Jerry I can't go Thur, but I can go Tues and Wed. Tues looks cooler but the track is not as good, what do you think? Going out again?

Thanks guys for the tune help. What is typical max WOT timing stock?

Back to racing, ran the NT05's at 18 last time, does anyone run them lower?

I was thinking of heading up tomorrow. With a little moreh heat on our tires I think we might be good. I will let you know early tomorrow if I can go.

Nice to hear its shifting better. Bring the HPT with you so we can adjust if needed

Sounds good I'm interested for sure. I think I have jury duty tomorrow but that should make it easier to get up there earlier.

Ick, that's never fun. I was thinking of trying to get there earlier to let the car cool off a bit more. I will be keeping an eye on DA too.
