Signed...does anyone know on the camaro how the license plates holders are secured? Is it bolted through the bumper? And if removed would result in 2 unsightly holes?

You can always use zip ties carefully and not have any permanent damage.

Thats what I was planning to do Polishmike. Especially since thanks to Destroyer4, I know what the dealers in NY are doing. Hopefully no one steals my plate / tag with the zipties. I have a future plan, I just need my car first.

While my car is being hijacked to design a complete exhaust system, im going there tomorrow to install the swift motorsports motorized plate mount. Its bad enough this car attracts a ton of attention i dont want this to be a reason to get a ticket. Also have 20% tint on sides and back.

Destroyer4, definitely let me know how that Swift Motorsport license plate works & turns out (will it be motorized or manual???) I was reading in a separate thread that it doesn't exactly fully hide the plate since the front bumber is angled up. Just a heads up.

Today didnt go as planned. Had a really really late night last night or should I say this morning and didnt go to do it. Plus the weather would have been a nightmare getting home through NYC, so I decided to wait till I get the car back next week. I saw some shots here somewhere and it doesnt look to bad, its off set to the side because of the point of the car. And I did get the motorized one.

See, now this is the way to do it. Instead of complaining about the law, breaking it, and complaining when you get caught, here's some people participating in the process to try to change it.

There's plenty of DIY info on how to fill in holes left after front plate removal, anyone who wants to do it should google it to get a plethora of answers immediately.

drilled, bolted and also riveted!! It's crazy the kind of damage you'd have to do to attach the factory plate holder!!
