matte w/ rough texture stripes... HotWheels

Just wonder what the detail pros would suggest for care on the stripes on my Hot Wheels car? The center stripes have a rough texture and a matte reflectivity. Not your typical matte vinyl.

Car is still new, and I've washed it... seems a damp microfiber towel cleans them fairly well after I use my wash mitt first. But it hasn't really been that dirty yet either.

Need your recommendation on product (and techniques) to use to keep them looking nice. I see, searching here, that Adams VRT gets votes for the regular matte... thinking of ordering some.

Thanks

Cool

This is why I didn't buy the HotWheel Camaro; vinyl is a Bit** to upkeep

Haha, yeah me too.. well, that and the $46,000 I don't have. VRT should work on the smooth and textured portions of the stripe FWIW.

Fishman,

What I've found best for me is to dry the car using the Adams microfiber drying towel. If the stripe gets marked up in between washes or someone rubs the stripe, the detail spray and a soft towel cleans it right up. A chamois does not work worth a crap.
