I got the Gates K061031 belt today for the 3.4" pulley, it just makes it. Had to put it over the water pump last. Going to run it in now.

3.4 pulley ordered... winter boost is coming... 620rwhp/550rwtq (Dynojet224x in Laramie, WY) on the 91mm slp pulley @ 6.5psi... elevation and headers makes for low boost even on the stg2 pulley.

You may want a 3.2 for your elevation I have those also.

I am only shooting for 8-9psi for now while running a stock bottom end. At elevation, the 3.2 would work great, but a road trip to lower elevation could be risky on stock internals with the gain in boost... plus, I can always go to the 3.2 later, tougher decision to dial it back from the 3.2 to the 3.4... That said, don't be too surprised if I order a 3.2 next summer...

They are very easy to swap for those low elevation trips.

Ted, or anyone, do I need to up my fuel pump going to 3.4 or 3.6? I'm stage 3 with stock pump still. If i do, what's best. New pump, boost a pump, MDS regulator???? What about injectors?

Depending on what your ultimate goal is I can recommend the right pump, but anything higher than 565 RWHP needs ID-850 injectors and a fuel pump upgrade.

Ted.

Dropping down a pulley size would require a re-tune, right?

My goal is to have 600 RWHP. Can I achieve this will smaller pulley, 850 injectors, upgraded fuel pump, and a retune? I really am not interested in upgrading a cam and springs.

11 - 11.5 lbs with a 3.2
Another question. Sorry guys, I'm still in learning here. What is my stock pulley size? And going to a 3.4 and lets say getting 9.5 pounds of boost (+3psi increase) what Hp & Tq gain we looking at just with a drop in pulley size.

I know fuel pump and injectors are going to increase Hp & Tq. I'm just wondering what a smaller pulley will roughly do.

Ted, when we get this figured out, I'll be ordering!

The stock pulley is metric, I forget the exact mm (98mm? it's in the attic, sorry) but as I recall it's around 3.8"

I make 8.5 - 9 psi with the JRE 3.4 depending on ambient temps. Headers & catless but stock cam & internals. E85, ID850's on a Livernois dual pump. Never been on a dyno but has to be over 600 whp as I can rip off a 3.7 sec 60-100 mph pull in third in perfect conditions, ~3.85 sec most days. Logged with HPTuners scanner software.

The increased boost makes the tq/hp causing the need for the fueling upgrades. I'm maxing out the Livernois dual pump as I see a pressure drop at the top of third but E85 requires ~30% more fuel. Prob going back to 93 next year if I go big cam, ect. Currently seeing 85% injector duty cycle so I need more pump &/or injector to stay on the corn for any more upgrades. Running .78 PE Lambda or 1.28 PE in GM terms.

Awesome. Thanks so much for replying.
I'm not wanting to do internals, and trying to stay away from tranny/clutch work. I'm thinking 600rwhp is about the max then? Will a Zl1 pump and ID850's be sufficient with a 3.4 pulley?

You'll want to add an ADM fuel pump controller and raise the WOT fuel pressure in the tune to offset the boost. Should be fine then on gasoline.

My Goal is 650RWHP.

At 502 now.

Add the intake, headers, fuel, smaller pulley and teds cam. Should hit my mark.

Only problem is with that power im sure im going to do something with the drive train???? (Clutch-Axels-gears????)

Well, my clutch is fine, I did add subframe connectors and trailing arms so wheel hop won't kill the rear end or axles.

IDK how close this is to a real dyno, but here's mine last summer on a fairly hot & humid day in a third gear pull from HPT data & virtual dyno. Good for mod & tune comparing at any rate but MAF cal changes will skew it. ~600 whp is prob close.

I guess if you return to the same dyno you will see 600 RWHP, On the Superflow you won't see that much power the most we have seen with TVS2300 LT headers Hi flow cats CAI, 3.6 pulley is 567 RWHP.

Your setup should really be closer to 525 RWHP with the Stock pulley and your mods, Some Dynos Read about 10% high.

Stock pulley size is 3.8, boost varies with Density Altitude, you get the highest boost at Sea level and about 3% less for each 1000 Ft Altitude.

The supercharger increases Air flow, you have reached the limits of your stock pump and ZR-1 injectors that came with the supercharger, you need additional fuel to support the additional Air.

Air and Fuel Together Make more power, Not one or the other by themselves.

You are also limited by Octane as to how much boost you can run on a given octane.

As cylinder pressure rises you hit a brick wall, that Wall is Octane, where you can't take enough timing out to eliminate Pre Ignition.

On 93 Octane that Wall is about 8.5-9 PSI on a stock LS3

Ted.
