Stopped my the shop yesterday, paid in full and dropped off a new set of ZL1 F1 supercar tires for my new wheels. The guys at Factory repro are awesome. Got a full tour of their enormous shop and spent some time talking to Doug and looking at all the different finishes for the Style 41 wheels. They all look great! I went with satin black. For the guys getting the pinstriping, you will love it, the quality is unbelievable.
Big props to Doug and his crew for being upfront and staying in communication with the C5 community all along the way. Great job Doug!

PRE-ORDERS

Friday May 16th is the last day to pre-order the Style 41 wheel before we release them to our wholesale and dealer accounts.

Please get your order in - one of our distributors has 51 sets on order, most do not even know we have them available .

I when by the dealership today to look a brand new ZL1 and to look at the wheels they look so good! The front wheels almost look like they stick out a little bit. I just ordered the 20X10's for the front with a 275/40 tire which I think is a little narrower that the 285/35 on the ZL1. Do you guys think it will be a little more flush than the 285/35 or about the same??, the other thing I was thinking to make the wheel a little more flush would to be to run a 20X9 with 275/40??

Damn....wish I wasn't waiting another month or so to place my order.

I want polished 20X9s. Is there a chance if they go out of stock that it could be a LONG time before more are available?

The ZL1 runs very aggressive offsets and yes they do stick out. Some like it, some don't…I love it! If you don't want that look, you would be better off going with the 20x9 up front with the 275/40 IMO.
Use this offset calculator to help you determine what works best for you. The 20x10 ZL1 offsets are 20x10 +23. The lower the offset the more the wheel sticks out. According to my math the 20x9 +27 front will be inward 17mm of the 20x10. In other the words, the 20x10 sticks out about 1/2" more than the 20x9. Does this help?

And speaking about sizes and such, where are the speedometer sensors located, I assume the rear wheels? This is important as some of us might need the speedo re-calibrated. For instance, I will run 20x10 with 295 in the rear so I will have this (and it is said that anything over 1% needs re-calibration):

I guess it all comes down to what brand of tires you like, and if they offer the sizes you need. That's the problem I'm running into.
Just do what I'm doing and run what we know works from GM, Goodyear F1 supercar 285 front and 305 rear. :-)

We are releasing the wheels to our wholesale and dealer accounts on Monday, May 20th. I expect the wheel to be popular. Our distrubution channels are worldwide.
