I have a set of American Racing AR 890's 18X8.5 rims and they are a pound heavier (28.3 lbs) than these 20X9's, I can't wait to get a set of these FR rims, these will lighten my Camaro alot = better MPG's.

So beautiful in chrome. What is the factory size on the wheels of a 2010 camaro SS?` 20x9 20x10? Which ones should I get. I am new to the rim game?

Factory size on an SS is 20x8 and 20x9. Factory size on a ZL1 is 20x10 and 20x11. Those will also fit your SS.

Please, please, please post a picture of the polished straight on.

Are you guys planning on adding more finishes later on? Possibly a painted version like the midnight silvers found on the RS packaged camaros?

You have several options:
  • 20x9 front and rear
  • 20x9 front & 20x10 rear
  • 20x10 front and rear
  • 20x10 front & 20x11 rear
The advantage to same size front and rear is the ability to rotate tires. Tires for 20x9 and 20x10 are considerably less expensive than they are for 20x10 and 20x11.

Hope this helps.

Not sure if this was ever answered in another thread, but are the center caps interchangeable with stock center caps?

Doug thanks so much for posting that picture of the polished straight on....looks so damn good.

I love chrome, but on this car I feel it may be a bit over the top, so as I've been begging for since the beginning, polished is for me!

If you take a Car Care One credit card (GE Capitol) I might have to just go ahead and order a set of 20x10

Hey Doug How about you put one rim of each type on a camaro and snap some pics

Probably wont look too great, but would be cool to see. I can imagine buying a grand worth of tires to do that would be a waste though.

I'm relentless.

Doug,
Would you be able to install or photo shop a set of each style rim onto a ZL1 or SS. It would be nice to see what the end results would look like with the rims installed! Thanks for keeping us all informed throughout this whole process.

Bill
