Loved the install video. Anyone install the Big Gulp and/or Reservoir Kit? I think I can handle the CAI install, looks doable, but not sure of what all is involved the Big Gulp and Reservoir Kit. Easy or sort to complicated?

Sorry, a little loopy, major back surgery and just got out of hospital today. No driving for two weeks and can only take short rides in the passenger seat. Hopefully I will be a little better each day!

Correct, we had many of you contact us asking if we could come up with something so you guys can run your catch cans. The "T" fitting is used only when you need a 2nd port location. For those of you not running catch cans, use the supplied 90 as shown in your instruction packet.

I installed mine about a week ago and love it. Easy install and great directions. The sound is amazing and the butt dyno is happy. One thing I did after talking to my buddy was install some rubber trim guard on the frame pinch seam where the airbox contacts the frame. He informed me that his has some paint chipping at that location. Now he did install, uninstall and reinstall it for some dyno runs so that may have caused it. But it was easy enough and is added protection. Pictures are from my iphone, so sorry about the size and quality.

I just got a new filter on Friday and it is smaller then the original one. I did go with the dry filter this time. Also there is no chrome on this filter. Not a big deal but was just wondering why it is different..

We do not recommend using the dry filter on the ZL1 as we have not done any testing with it.

What is the estimate difference in gain between going with just the CAI verses adding the big gulp and reservior?

I don't think you get any additional HP. Big gulp can force more air to the brakes otherwise I think it's the same amount to the CAI. The reservoir gives you cooler engine temps, I think, this is definitely not my area of expertise.

During dyno testing of our ZL1 CAI, we had them do a "hood up" pull to see how the additional air affected performance. Needless to say there was an increase in HP, which was the deciding factor for us to go into R&D on the big gulp.

What are you guys coming up for those of us that have purchased the big gulp, and the original w/s relocation tank that mounts where your I/c tank usually mounts? Would like to mount the I/c tank, but also want to keep the washer function.

thanks

But no post production data to indicate quantitatively what benefit is derived from the additional components? Im just seeking substantive information on why I should go above/beyond your CAI (which others on this forum have convinced me is worth the money)..
