look at how small the wheel gaps are... i also love how the front and rear wheel gaps are equal and not like ugly bmw's where the rear end looks lower in the front... i had a 350z and i love the small car ness about it does any body know the dimensions...wheelbase and length... height width of this pre production the body gaps look REALLY good and now that the general is paying more attention to detail this is gunna be a 'hopefully' bug free interior...

i was at the 2008 toronto international canadian auto show... and i heard ALOT of people talking about how the camaro was getting the ls3 AND the L76 ... dont know about how sure the gm guys at the show were... but everybody was talking pretty technical specs of the engines eg how much cubic in of air enters at redline and were doing some hardcore math... and i dont know i think i heard dragoneye talking about the cancellation of the viper... which is a negitive it was announced there that production would continue until at least 2014+... and i also got kicked out of the show for jumping over the glass for the camaro...my girlfriend was pissed but i had to do it

I actually really like the shark fin antenna. It is way better than a traditional mast and blocky sat. receivers.

The brakes do look bigger and better. Now that's more like it.

I also do not believe the front scoop is cut out. GM, don't make me break out the Sawzall.

Red face gas door

Only thing I don't like is the gas door. At least move to left side. Racing seats still would be nice for the z.

He didn't say that but it was implied, or at least would be a lower model grille. Either way, HURRY UP!!
ok good point. i just got so caught up in how awesome the front looks, i didnt look too close. it is blocked off. it still looks cool tho.

hmmm, whats that shiny piece in the middle of the hood? a clear engine cover like on the ZR1 concealing an LS9? lol jk its probably the actual metal hood which i hope is aluminum, that would be sweet!

I deffinately like the big brakes and wheels, I fall in love with this car a little more with every spy pic

This is just awesome:5thgenvert:

Umm . . . your welcome? I the only one I can take partial credit for is the vert. I requested it that a vert needed to be made, and tweetz needed to be added to the 'rock on' camaro. I had nothing to do with the others.

Also, I want to welcome any new members that are making their first posts in this thread.

INCREADIBLE!!!

Ok...this does it for me. I know it's not completed and all...and I've been "keeping the faith", okay. But, those last snow pix in Detroit weren't doing too much for me. I was happy to see them, but they sure as heck didn't blow me away like ANY pix of the concept. They were just, "okay."

But now, ... uh ... WOW! What a GREAT shot too! Finally, like someone else had said, SOMEONE KNOWS HOW TO USE A CAMERA!!! Loving the wheels. Calipers look great as well. Yup...there's that gas...filler...door....wow. That front scoop does look cut open and it does look functional. It does appear, however, that the camo bra on the hood is tucked under the front of the hood in between the opening (between the hood and front facia) which makes it appear as though the vent is closed. I think it's open.

I really can't wait to see how the front end is going to look on the production model....halos, grill, bowtie and all. God, is it going to be great! Finally!!! SOME GOOD PHOTOS!!!!

Thank you everyone on the GM team! It's looking BEAUTIFUL!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!

Now cut open those d@mn rear vents.........................

I'm really excited with how many spy-shots we're getting!! I am so happy with how the pre-pro is coming along...I don't even know what to say...I could almost ( + )...there's no cry for joy smiley!? Anyway, I noticed the B-pillar...yeah it SEEMS a little heftier, but then again...it's a different angle, it still has various forms of camo on it...so who knows. Personally, I don't care at all about the B-pillar...I'd rather have that then some of those stupid port holes on the mustang...I think that they look rediculous. Oh, and I was taking a closer look at the scoop in the front fascia and it almost looks like the "bra" (or whatever's on the hood) is tucked down behind the scoop Who knows!? Take a look! It's probably not actually open, but it could be Just another guy's perspective
