2014 Camaro release date?

I'm currently looking into the 2lt 2013 camaro but have recently heard that the 2014 camaro will be coming out in the near future. I was wondering anybody has any info on this topic. Please let me know ASAP!!!! Because I'm just about ready to go buy the 2013 off the lot.

I am really debating about it. I do like the 2014 look but I have to wait for it to go on sale when I can just go right now And buy a 2013. Idk is it worth the wait??

Just wait, save a little more so that way when you get the 2014 (im waiting until its drops as well) you have enough put aside for mods/rims as soon as you drive off the lot.

That's what I was thinking but I'm also stuck in the situation where I don't have a daily driver I'm borrowing my sisters car. Hopefully in the next month or so they release some helpful info about its release date

The 2014 is ugly as sin. You have to ask yourself, "Do I want to wait 5 months and buy a car that is ugly and I'm going to be embarrassed driving if I'm ever next to a pre-refresh Camaro or should I buy a 2013 now and be happy that I bought a badass looking car that I can drive right now?"

The choice seems easy to me....

They aren't going to release anymore info. Its a 2014 model year which means it will show up around the last quarter of 2013.

Would you rather like "some" things about your car or "everything" about your car?

It might be ugly to you guys, but how do you know how he feels about, for all you know he probably loves it and now you just made him feel bad about his decision....

Or...just go with me here...it comes out and people see it in person and actually like it and the refresh makes our current models look old. Plus...the OP already said he likes the look of the 2014.

I've seen plenty pics of the 10-13 model that look like shit. But its just pics. Just my.02.

If I were the OP I would ignore all the trash talking about the refresh cuz none of those people have seen the car in person and all of them happened to have just dropped some cash down on a car that in the matter of months will no longer be the "cool, current model". Get what makes you happy and fits the circumstances you are currently in.

Um did you read the OP? He hasn't made a decision....hence why this thread exists.

Ok, you're getting technical...his "future" decision, better?

He said it.

OP I am in the same boat as you. I want to upgrade to an SS and I am trying to weigh the pros and cons of 2013 v 2014.

I'm leaning towards the 14 model but still a little indecisive. I am willing to wait but just curious if anybody had a rough idea of when it will come out. For example in 2012 when were you able to go to the dealer and purchase a 2013 model.

Lol I love all the "oh common give it a chance" posts and my personal favorite "the looks are starting to grow on me". Uhhhhhh if it were so spectacular to begin with 90% of this forum wouldn't be complaining about it. As a car manufacturer what would you rather get, "the looks need to grow on me" or "holy shit that's amazing!!!!"

Stock for stock I will park a 2010-13 next to a 2014 any day knowing full well that the pre-refresh is far more aesthetically pleasing.

Orders for 2014 can be taken by the dealer but won't be accepted into the system until June. Production for 2014 begins late August 2013.

Moment.
