High performance L&G Motor Sports Exhaust

I bought an exhaust system from L&G Motor Sports. You can look them up. The owner has a long winning history with his products that he developed himself. Anyways I got the top of the line system. Long tube headers, 1 7/8 primary size, 3" collector with fire cone, full 3" mid section, 3" high flow siemese X pipe design, high flow optional 200 cell metal matrix cats, and 3" pipe all the way to my mufflers. The system is awsome and added 57 rwhp! I was extremely happy with that!!! Seeing that they had conservatively posted a 35 rwhp gain!!! Anyways, prior to getting this system I had Flowmaster 10's on my car. After the system was put on, the drone in the cabin of my car was pretty bad. Sounded like a beast, but the drone really bothered my 9 year old baby girl. So I went and bought the their high performance muffler. It's fully polished stainless steel, full 3" throughout, and with a 4" double walled slash cut tip. very lightweight and straight through design that gives you little back pressure and a deep American V8 sound. after the dyno I saw that it did add 8 to 10 hp. The first pull was 10 extra hp, and the next two pulls were 8+ a bit. I live in Texas and it was 103 outside. I'm figuring the heat after the first pull probably was a factor. Anyways I left them on for three days and I just couldn't stand it. They have a great sound, almost no drone in the car at all, and added more horsepower. But, They just didn't have that loud aggressive sound that the Flowmaster 10's had. With that system you could here me coming four blocks away! Especially after the header's and all. I loved it!!! I went and had the L&G's taken off, and put the Flowmasters back on. ( I now have to drive an Acura when my baby girl is with me. Anyways, now I have a set of Mufflers that I paid $500 for and I have no use for them. I'm willing to sell them for $200 to someone that wants a good high performance muffler, with a nice deep rumble, but won't wake up your neighbors, or keep you from hearing what anyone is saying in the car! You can give L&G a call and ask them about the mufflers that come with the high performance header back system. Just tell them that Doug Norwood has some mufflers he was trying to sell that he bought with their L&G super Pro Header System. They will verify the price ( which is actually a tad more than $500), the fact that they are what I'm saying they are, and give you all the info you need. L&G's phone # is 972-429-1963. Ask for Bobby if he's there. If not they should know who you're talking about. I've tried for two weeks to get them to buy them back from me, and no go. So, like I said, I'm only asking for $200.00 for them. I'd rather someone be using them and enjoying them than them just sitting in my office. I swear it's the best buy you'll ever make!! Thanks for taking the time for reading this!! I hope I'm putting this in the right place! If not I'm . Anyways, Thanks!! Good luck to all!! And BTW: you should check out L&G Motor Sports on the net. They ship anywhere, and the quality of their stuff is some of the best out there!! The owner Lou is a pretty well known name in the racing world. He's built the fastest Corvette, won like five or six championships, and only designs, and builds mainly Corvette's or Camaro's. Let me know if you're interested! My office e-mail is dnorwood@wpss.com, I look at that one every day. Note that I wont go any lower than $200.00 these, and that's a steel!!!!

Hmm, that's odd. All this info which suspiciously looks like an advertisement for LG...yet no before or after numbers and no graph?

Ok well then my OBX headers and exhaust gave me 78.6hp/84.3tq to the wheels!! And I paid less than $1300 for them...

Hey, does anyone else have a set of headers that gave them over 50 hp? No proof needed, I'll take your word for it...!!

And on top of it looks like a FS thread in the tech section.

Yes the timing of thread is very ironic wouldn't you say?

Legit, but yeah very ironic. Let's not jump to conclusions though.

Oh wait... nevermind.

This is the section where we TALK about bolt-on mods, not sell them. We have a members for sale section for that. Please have a mod move it.

Just to let you know, I'm not doing any advertising for L&G. I was simply trying to sell some freakin' mufflers. And yes I do have a dyno sheet. I just don't have a way to post it on here from my office. All I can tell you is that I was at 307hp before and 364 w/ 379.37 max torque after. Give a dam if you believe it or not. I was just mentioning that it seemed like a pretty good increase to me. I'm not a car guy by now means. I'm a Harley guy that got a DWI and now I have to have a blow machine in my car that detects if I've been drinking before I start my car and during the time I am driving the car. I was going crazy not having any kind of adrenaline rush in my life so I bought this Camaro and figured I'd try and get it modded out enough to go to the track on the weekends and have some fun. I have no idea what those numbers are good or if they're not. I was telling the truth, not trying to sell any damn thing. Damn, you guys are pretty judgmental around here. And that's coming from a guy that's been hanging around Harley clubs for the past 25 years. I got on this sight to get some ideas on what to do to get my car to the point that I don't get laughed off the track when I line up for the quarter mile. If it were a Harley I'd have no problem. But, like I said before, I have no experience in what to do , or what not to do when it comes to rodding out a car. I'd just appreciate a little help and advise. I want to be able to go to the track and run at least high 11's. So far I've done L&G complete Longtube header system with everything all the way back. K&N cold air, tuning for the headers and transmission, and putting electric cut-outs in next week. Kinda afraid to do a LS conversion with cams because I've seen what can happen. I'm thinking a supercharger would be easier on my motor than that. Anyone that has any opinions please chime in. And once again, I'm far from being a salesman for L&G! Bet that!! Anyone else out there that cares to help a brother out, it would be appreciated.
