Exclamation Pricing the competition for 1LE 2013

HI. Need to know what new Camaro owners are using to determine their final buying price. What are you using... Amex Auto Purchase, Costco Auto , TruCar , AAA, or hard nose to the grindstone Face to Face haggling? I would like to know how to get the best price possible. Thanks for your replies.

You should be able to get at least Supplier Pricing. It's a good starting point anyway: http://prod3.gmautobuilder.com/Build...riceformula=EM

I just bought one last week. I got supplier pricing, $1K rebate, and a $500 local rebate for an auto show. I also was building one on the GM site and a $1K special offer popped up that I was able to fill out!

The best piece of advice I can give anyone who regularly purchases GM vehicles is to get a GM Card. Don't have to carry a balance, but use it on a regular basis. It's free money towards your next car purchase.

In addition to the points or dollars that you accumulate through use, you also get included in special offers that are hard to pass up. For example, when I bought my 1LE in Feb, I had a special offer from the GM Card known as a "top off". In my case I received a $2000 top off plus $1000 special offer. My GM Card points were low (only about $100 accumulated) because I hadn't used the card much since redeeming my points on the last car I purchased. The "top off" topped me off to $2000 I could use on any GM vehicle plus the $1000 special offer.

GM Card points come off after all other discounts, are not part of the negotiation, and are usually compatible with all other rebates. So for my purchase, I negotiated for $200 under invoice which still gave the dealer a decent profit, minus $1000 factory rebate, minus $2000 top off, minus $1000 special offer for a total of $4000 in rebates/offers. All for free, didn't have to do a thing to get these offers except own a GM Card.

Agree with the GM card. It is the only card my wife and I use. They gave us $3800+ off the top, plus the $1K from GM before we ever got started! Almost$5K!

I got the top off also! $2000 + $1000 private offer + $500 rebate = free 1LE package!

Do they give you a top off right away when you get a GM card or does it take a while?

The offers usually come during the slow times of the year. I usually get them in the spring and late fall.
