In May, seriously?? Ugh...

Just when I was getting excited about the roads being clear and dry. The gravel was being swept up and everything....I wake to this!! I started shovelling it off so the driveway clears faster then decided you guys might not believe it without a pic. So here it is, spring showers Alaska style !

Damn... that's a great shot! One of the best Camaro shots I've ever seen...

You could convert it to black and white and probably win photo contests.

Too cold, I might come up there and enjoy the wildlife, but I'm staying my butt down here in the heat and humidity full time

Too bad! I know the feeling - we got the same situation in Sweden some years.

Where in AK are you located? I am going to Juneau and Greens Creek for some work in a few weeks I hope you have good fishing by then and that I get to see som Grizzlys up there! Last time all I saw was a rat (that was in December).

Amazing how diverse America is. You have snow, while we've been battling 90 degree weather all week in Cali and w/the fires. My PSIs been thru the roof, so taking it easy. Stay safe everyone!

Yup, I lost my mind today when I looked outside. The roads are still clear, at least.

Some friends of mine in Wasilla posted a similar photo on Facebook earlier today. Tough place to own a sports car.

Yeah. our "sports car driving season" up here is way to short! We Alaskans genally love our snow, but I think most would agree this is the winter that just won't end...despite our "enough already" comments .

I keep it in the Chevy family and the Trailblazer gets lots of fun the "other" 7 months of the year (or on days like this!).

I took the pic just to illustrate the situation but with your comments and as I look at it, it is a pretty cool picture. I don't mind the winter chevy ride in the driveway but it'd be easy to PS out! I had just installed my Gen5DIY halo harness and 5K DRL bulbs so happened to have the good camera out but I'm glad I took this shot . Glad you all enjoyed it.

"Poof" - no truck - but I actually think the truck adds something to the image. It says wet, dirty, and winter while the camaro says sleek, clean and fast. It almost like the car is waiting to leap out but knows it's not time yet. LOL, this should be in the photo section . Anyway, cheers.

Great pic.

Opened the pool. Got to swim 2 days when it was in the 80's and then it snowed. Been 4 days now and it is still too cold. Maybe next week...

Hey! I think I saw you here in Juneau today! You were cruising close to Walmart?

I took some pictures... Here we go, so was that you?
