2 shops said tune is a must...2 others said not needed right away.
(Said would cause detonation and pit the pistons and damage the head gasket.

96500 miles to go before I can order the headers at that point lol.

Not gonna let GM off the warranty hook this early with the car.

If it's just a street driven car for the most part then you're not going to see those problems. Headers and no tune can go lean at WOT. If you don't spend a lot of time in WOT, then you'll probably be fine with no tune.

With no tune and 1-3/4 headers I am rich as all ****ing hell. even at WOT im at almost a 12.0 afr with no Tune at all. Starts at 14.5 almost

You're definitely safe then! And most everyone else is too. If you race your car, then chances are you want the tune anyways to get the power left on the table.

Thanks might be ordering them pretty soon, and as for warranty well I don't need it for the use of the car plan was for a street/track car or even straight track still blue printing

They have trouble keeping up because the quality is so good for the price. If anything turns out to be not up to par I'm sure they would have no problem getting you taken care of

I have the 2" TSP LT's with off-road connections and they are awesome! I can't imagine any other headers being better, especially for the money. I drove mine with a Diablosport canned tune for about 3,000 miles no problem. It was a little erratic at times, but nothing too bad. It did run a little lean and that can be a problem. I got a custom tune and it was great. I would highly suggest a pro tune since your engine will be saying "WTF".

Texas Speed is an awesome and legit company too! I will def buy anything I can from them in the future.
